Problem: Your Presonus FaderPort controller worked fine in and earlier version of Steinberg Nuendo, but no longer shows up in the list of devices that can be added in “Device Setup” since upgrading to version 4 or 5.
Solution: Copy “FaderPort.dll” from the Presonus FaderPort folder to the Nuendo components folder. Assuming installation defaults (in Vista/7) the file should be copied from
C:\Program Files (x86)\PreSonus\FaderPort\FaderPort Dll\Cubase\win32
to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Nuendo 4\components.
Restart Nuendo, click “Device Setup” under the “Devices” menu, then click the “+” button to add a new device. “Presonus FaderPort” should now be an option.
